David A. Raitzer is a Senior Economist in the Economic Research and Development Impact Department of ADB. His research over more than two decades has focused on impact evaluation of development interventions, the economics of climate change, and policy analysis related to the environment, natural resources, agriculture, social protection, and human capital across much of developing Asia.
He currently leads ten impact evaluations spanning sectors from agriculture to education, social protection, finance and energy in a range of countries. Prior to ADB, he worked at the International Rice Research Institute, Center for International Forestry Research, and for the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research.
