Ms. Xiaozhe Zhang works as a Senior Professional at the Independent Evaluation Office of the New Development Bank (NDB). Prior to joining the NDB in 2024, she served in the United Nations system, most recently as Regional Manager for Asia, South-South and Triangular Cooperation, at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). In her earlier roles at IFAD, she managed development initiatives financed by the donor countries and supported the development of corporate strategies, policies, and operational guidelines. With over 15 years of experience as a development practitioner, she brings extensive field experience across Asia and Africa, as well as knowledge of project management and evaluation in international financial institutions and UN specialized agencies.
