Boram Shin is a Manager in the Department of Evaluation at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The department, operating independently within KOICA, oversees the agency's evaluation system and its major evaluations.
Her portfolio covers evaluations in the climate change sector, including impact evaluations in Sri Lanka and Peru, the latter with the World Bank's DIME, as well as KOICA's evaluation partnerships with the OECD.
She previously worked at KOICA's DR Congo office. Before that she managed KOICA's conflict and fragility programme at headquarters and covered the agency's engagement with the OECD DAC across a range of policy areas.
She holds a master's degree in security studies from Georgetown University and is completing a doctorate in energy policy at Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
