Mr. Jung Ho Kim is a Principal Operations Coordination Specialist in ADB’s Pacific Department, where he leads the evaluation of the Pacific Approach (2021–2025) and the development of the Pacific Approach (2025–2030), a strategic framework to enhance the effectiveness of ADB’s support to Pacific developing member countries through approaches tailored to their diverse country contexts, institutional capacities, and development challenges. He brings over 28 years of professional experience spanning development finance, infrastructure, investment banking, and both the public and private sectors. Over 18 years at ADB, he has led and supported country and regional operations, strategic planning, and infrastructure investments, including municipal infrastructure and public utility projects in Pakistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan. His private-sector experience includes investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, structured and project finance, equity financing, and B loan participations with IFC and EBRD. He also holds postgraduate law degrees from Northwestern University School of Law.
