Sneha Venu is a Research Associate at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie). She is primarily working on an evaluation of a collective impact project targeting waste-pickers in urban Bengaluru, India. Prior to this, she worked as a Research Associate at LEAD at KREA University (formerly IFMR LEAD), contributing to a large-scale RCT on early childhood education and parental investment in Udaipur, and a gender-focused qualitative study in microfinance. She holds an MSc. in Development Economics from University of Göttingen, Germany and a B.A in Economics from Azim Premji University Bangalore. She has held research assistant roles at Azim Premji University and at the University of Göttingen working on projects in early childhood education, youth violence, and social mobility in India.
