Véronique Salze-Lozac’h has been a Chief Evaluator at the EBRD since June 2021. She is an economist, with a strong evaluation background and over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, working on inclusive growth and policy reforms in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Before joining the EBRD, Ms. Salze-Lozac’h was a Deputy Director General of the Independent Evaluation Department at the Asian Development Bank and a Chief Economist at the Asia Foundation. Before joining the Foundation, as a founder of VSL Consulting, she worked on a variety of economic projects for both public and private sectors in Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Ms. Salze-Lozac’h holds MAs in Political Science from Paris IV Sorbonne and in International Affairs/ Economic Development from Sciences-Po Paris, and PhD (all but dissertation) in Economic Development at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, United States.
