Andrew Brubaker joined the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) at the Asian Development Bank, in October 2023, as the Director for the Thematic and Country Division. Prior to re-joining IED he was in the ADB Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development sector group preparing projects and undertaking sector diagnostics in South Asia. Andrew's evaluation experience is extensive having worked primarily on corporate and thematic evaluations, including on Safeguards, in IED for 8 years. Prior to joining ADB, he worked in evaluation at the International Fund for Agricultural Development and for several US government agencies related to agriculture and international development. Andrew's international work began in the Philippines where he served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer.
