Mr Tan Jun Han is the Deputy CEO of SSTEC where he oversees the Economic Promotion & Strategy Division. He has 20 years of working experience in Singapore and China, in the areas of strategy and policy development, urban and land use planning, project management and investment promotion.
The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd (SSTEC) is the master developer of the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, which is a flagship Government-to-Government cooperation project between China and Singapore. Established in 2008, the Tianjin Eco-City has become a green, highly liveable model of sustainable development.
Concurrently, Mr Tan is the Managing Director of the Singapore University of Technology and Design Eco-City Research and Innovation Centre (SERIC), which focuses on zero carbon goals in the Tianjin Eco-City.
Before joining SSTEC, Mr Tan had held leadership appointments with Singapore’s Ministry of National Development in the Strategic Planning Division, and Urban Redevelopment Authority.
