Nassreena S. Baddiri is a Senior Evaluation Specialist at the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where she leads corporate, thematic, and country-level evaluations. She currently leads IED's evaluation of the Asian Development Fund (ADF) 13 and 14.

Previously, she served as team leader for IED's Evaluation of ADB's Support to Small Island Developing States (2026) and the Asian Development Fund 12 and 13 (2023), and as co-team leader for IED's Evaluation of ADB's Support for Accelerating Progress in Gender Equality (2024).

Prior to joining ADB, Nassreena was Country Director of Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in the Philippines, where she oversaw a wide-ranging portfolio of rigorous impact evaluations conducted in collaboration with international and local partners. Her work spanned social protection, financial inclusion, education, and fragile and conflict-affected situations. She also brings a diverse professional background spanning government service in the Philippines, academia, and policy research.

Nassreena holds a Doctorate degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines (UP), a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Manchester, and a Master's in International Studies from UP.
