WANG Jiachang is a professor in the Department of Accounting, School of Business, Anhui University of Technology (AUT). He is currently the Director of the Institute of Government Accounting Informatization at AUT. Previously, he also served as a consulting expert of the First National Technical Committee on Accounting Informatization Standardization under the Ministry of Finance of P.R. China; a member of the Accounting Informatization Committee of the Accounting Society of China (serving from the 1st to the 7th term). In recent years, he has participated in the revision of the Accounting Law of the People's Republic of China and the drafting of the Ministry of Finance's Accounting Informatization Development Plan (2021–2025). He is collaborating with the Department of Finance and the Department of Education of Hainan Province on the development of a project database management and project performance evaluation system covering universities and local education systems across the province.
