Erik joined the Asian Development Bank’s Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships Department in 2022. In his current role, he manages the implementation of the Asian Development Fund 13 and is the technical lead for the Asian Development Fund 14 replenishment for 2025–2028.
From 2017 to 2022, Erik was based in ADB’s Pacific Subregional Office in Fiji, and led and coordinated ADB’s country strategy and program in Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Niue, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu. He was an advisor with ADB’s Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative from 2009 to 2017, posted in Australia, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
