Faraz Kazmi has over 25 years of global finance experience across sectors, geographies and products. Prior to joining the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) at the Asian Development Bank in 2021, he was a Managing Director in the Project and Export Finance business at Standard Chartered. At IED, Faraz focuses on the evaluation of private sector operations.
He has previously worked for Citigroup, Lehman Brothers and MCB Bank focusing on investment banking and infrastructure finance, and has extensive transaction experience in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
Faraz holds an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration.
