Gambhir Bhatta has more than 30 years of experience in governance, public policy, capacity building, and public sector management as well as knowledge management in advisory, policy planning, program/project development, and academic realms across four continents.
Gambhir took early retirement from ADB in 2021 where his roles had included Chief of the Governance Thematic Group as well as that of the Knowledge Advisory Services Center. In more than 15 years at ADB he led various missions, contributing directly to a portfolio of more than two billion dollars in programming in the broad areas of governance and public management.
He is currently an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. He has a Dual Masters Degree in Economics and Political Science from Bowling Green State; and a PhD in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
