Guoqi Wu is the National Focal Point for Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and New Development Bank portfolios in China with a total volume of 15 billion USD. He has three decades’experience working with government authorities and international financial institutions to promote global development cooperation. From 2018 to 2025 he held the position of Associate Vice President at the International Fund for Agricultural Development, leading the corporate services delivery covering human resources, administrative services, information technology and digital transformation. Prior to that he served as Alternate Director representing China at the AIIB and NDB Board, and Alternate Executive Director of China at the Asian Development Bank. Mr. Wu holds a PhD in Economics from the Research Institute for Fiscal Science, Chinese Ministry of Finance; and Master of Science in Development Finance from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
