Hwee Tin Kng is Acting Managing Director of the Complaints-resolution, Evaluation and Integrity Unit (CEIU) at AIIB, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. She oversees CEIU’s core functions, including learning and evaluation, complaints-handling under the Project-affected People’s Mechanism (PPM), and anti-fraud and corruption efforts aligned with the Policy on Prohibited Practices.
Kng is also the Chief Internal Audit Officer of AIIB providing assurance and advisory services to enhance effectiveness of AIIB’s governance, risk management and control processes. With over 30 years of experience in financial services and real estate investment, she joined AIIB in June 2023.
She previously held senior roles at OCBC Bank Group, including CEO of OCBC Wing Hang Bank (China) Ltd, and served as Group Chief Risk Officer and CEO of Finance and Corporate Services in China of CapitaLand Investments Ltd. She holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
