Professor Lu Wenbin is the President of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute). In 1999, he graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a master's degree in accounting. In 2003, he graduated from the School of Accounting of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a PhD degree in accounting. From June to October 2002, he studied at the Department of Accounting, City University of Hong Kong. From January to May 2004, he was a visiting scholar at the Carey School of Business, Arizona State University.
From September 2000 to now, he has been working in Shanghai National Accounting Institute, successively serving as deputy director and director of Educational Affairs Department. He served as Assistant to the President in August 2012, Vice President in August 2015, and President in April 2023. He is also the Vice President of Financial Accounting Society of China and a member of the Accounting Education Committee of China Accounting Society.
