Eungji Kim is a Senior Evaluation Specialist in the Independent Evaluation Department at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), with close to eight years assessing the effectiveness of ADB-financed development programs across Asia and the Pacific. His work spans sector and thematic evaluations, corporate level evaluations, and country assistance program validations, including a recently completed corporate level evaluation of ADB's health sector strategy and implementation. He is co-leading cluster evaluations of results-based lending programs in India and Indonesia, aimed at strengthening results monitoring and delivery under this relatively new lending modality in ADB. Eungji brings a data-driven, sector-comparative lens to evaluation practice, with particular interest in how rigorous, evidence-based assessment can inform more effective policies and improve delivery systems across the region.
