Riccardo Polastro has 30 years of experience in humanitarian affairs, and development assistance management and evaluation. Since 2023, he joined WHO as Evaluation Head, following senior evaluation roles at UNICEF. His career spans the Red Cross Movement, the UN system, foundations, NGOs, donors, and the private sector. He has led major evaluations, taught at graduate level, and serves as UN Evaluation Group Vice Chair.
