International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
Bidisha Barooah is Lead Technical Specialist (Economist) at the International Fund for Agricultural Development. She is leading work on promoting use of data and evidence-informed decision making for agriculture under the 50x2030 Initiative- a multi-partner initiative between IFAD, FAO and the World Bank for strengthening national data systems for agriculture in L/L-MICs.
Prior to IFAD she was Lead Evaluation Specialist at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) where she led a number of mixed-method evaluations on livelihood interventions for women. She has a PhD in Economics.
