Jiro Tominaga,

Jiro Tominaga is the Deputy Director General of the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He supports the Director General in planning, implementing, and overseeing the department’s vision, strategies, and achievement of its long-term and annual goals.

Mr. Tominaga has more than 30 years of development experience. Prior to his current role, he held several senior positions at ADB, including Country Director for Indonesia and Director of the Strategy, Policy and Business Processes Division in the Strategy, Policy and Partnerships Department.

Before joining ADB, he worked at the World Bank, Japan’s Ministry of Finance, and the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan.

Mr. Tominaga holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Keio University, Japan.
