Radha Ashrit became a member of the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, which is part of NITI Aayog, the highest governing body of the Indian government, in 2022. She currently holds a crucial position in overseeing the implementation of many schemes and initiatives implemented by the Government of India at the outcome level. She plays a crucial role in modifying and managing a unique tool that assesses the data preparedness in the country, enabling decision-making based on evidence. She is now involved in the impact evaluation of multiple programs by the Government of India in the areas of Agriculture and Allied Sectors, Rural Development, Women and Child Development, and Skill Development.
She belongs to the Indian Statistical Services (ISS). She possesses a Doctorate in Agriculture Economics from IIT Delhi and possesses a Master's Degree in Statistics from the University of Kerala, India.
