Dr. Abinash Dash is a Director (Evaluation) at the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog. He holds a PhD in Development Economics from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan. He is from the Indian Economic Services (IES).
Dr. Dash has more than 15 years of work experience and specializes in monitoring and evaluation. He specializes in development economics, health economics, impact evaluation, and microeconometrics. He has written several articles in national and international journals and in leading newspapers in India.
In his present assignment, he is involved in several evaluation projects carried out by DMEO, NITI Aayog.
