Áron Gereben is an Evaluation Expert/Team Leader at the Evaluation Division (EV) of the European Investment Bank (EIB). In recent years he has been focusing on evaluations of the EIB Group’s various activities supporting small businesses.
Prior to joining the evaluation function of the EIB, Áron worked as Deputy Adviser/Senior Economist at the Economics department of the EIB. He also has a wide experience as a monetary economist, serving in various analytical and management positions at the Central Banks of Hungary and at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. He holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Finance from the Corvinus University in Budapest. Some of his recent academic work has been published in Small Business Economics, and in the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics.
