Ferry Irawan is Acting Deputy Minister for Macroeconomics and Financial Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (CMEA) of Indonesia. He also serves as Assistant to the Minister for Regional Development. Prior to that, Mr. Ferry was Deputy Assistant for Monetary and External Sectors and Deputy Assistant for Regional Economic and Real Sector at the CMEA.
Ferry has previously worked at the Ministry of Finance as the head of both the Fiscal division and the Monetary and Balance of Payment division. He has earned a doctoral degree and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia. Ferry's broad-ranging expertise in macroeconomics has enabled him to play an essential role in the development of macroeconomics policy in Indonesia.
