Harsh Anuj is a Data Scientist in the Methods Advisory function team of the Independent Evaluation Group. He has been with the World Bank since 2014. At IEG, Harsh works on the application of data science and AI to IEG’s evaluative and synthesis products, and on internal data science capacity building and external knowledge sharing.
Before joining IEG in 2019, he led the Global Delivery Initiative’s data science workstream DeCODE, and provided data science support to management, operations, and corporate teams across the World Bank.
Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked as an economist at the Tata Group since 2010. Harsh is a trained economist, but since joining the Bank his learning has been focused on the areas of machine learning, natural language processing, and geospatial analysis.
