Green Climate Fund (GCF)
Michell Dong is an Impact Evaluation Specialist at the Green Climate Fund’s Independent Evaluation Unit. She designs and manages impact evaluations on nature conservation, climate resilience, and adaptation, with GCF-funded projects spanning Tanzania, Madagascar, Uganda, Georgia, Thailand, and Malawi.
Through rigorous impact assessment of GCF-funded projects, she works with project teams to generate learning on what works, why it works, and how it can be strengthened - contributing to high-quality evidence in the climate adaptation and mitigation space.
Michell holds a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College and a Ph.D. in Development Policy from KDI School.
